Jim beattie

Jim Beattie is a maker, crafter, performer and multimedia artist who has been creating in festival spaces for over six years. Greatly influenced by the Burning Man project, Jim enjoys collaborating on large and small art projects that are not only visually pleasing and entertaining but that also create immersive spaces which elicit emotional and intellectual responses. He has collaborated on stages, art pieces, performances and immersive spaces at Burning Man, Burning Seed, Strawberry Fields, Rainbow Serpent, Babylon, Blazing Swan and other events and festivals.

Always with nature in mind, using sustainable, natural and recycled materials Michelle’s background encompasses natural building, construction of cob pizza ovens, workshop facilitation, sculpting and rendering with clay and a variety of natural mediums, degree & diploma in communication design, freelance graphic design, large scale oil painting, hand and digital illustration, body art, jewellery making, basket weaving, wood carving and festival and event décor design and creation.

nick theodore

Nick and Michelle are artists and natural builders, who have designed and built their own cob and straw bale home in The Otways, Victoria. This space has provided a sanctuary from which many more creations have spilled.
Nick’s background includes natural building, landscape design and construction, a diploma in horticulture, an associates degree in sound engineering, workshop facilitation, carpentry, stone masonry, construction of cob pizza ovens and natural playgrounds.
